The conference program will include fourteen interactive workshops, in addition to the nine panel discussions conducted in parallel to the other conference sessions. In response to the call for abstracts, we have received 39 proposals; almost twice the number than the workshop/panel allocations we have in the conference program.

Wherever possible, rather than rejecting the proposals, we have asked the authors of the proposals on similar topics to work together and accommodate all the concepts into one workshop (or panel discussion). Attached is the list of the workshop topics as well as their chairs. The list of the panel discussions can be found at http://hb2012.org/program/symposia.
